On 14th of December 2022, The European Parliament and the Council (EU) 2022/2464 formally enacted new regulations to amend Regulation (EU) No. 537/2014, Directive 2004/109/EC, Directive 2006/43/EC and Directive 2013/34/EU with regard to corporate sustainability reporting. The CSRD replaced the NFRD, expanding the scope and criteria for information that will be subject to disclosure. The provisions of the CSRD have been formally in force in Poland since 1st of January 2024.


As part of the ESRS S1 standard of the Social (S) part of the Directive and on the basis of double materiality analysis, HR Departments of organizations will be obliged to prepare and implement programs and measurable activities to enable the recipients of the report to understand the impact of the organization on its employees in terms of sustainability.
